2015 was an amazing year for movies. 2015 gave us great films like CREED,STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON, Avengers: Age Of Ultron and The Hateful Eight. From superheroes to assassins to basic comedies, film fans were treated to many cinematic works of art. As we close in on the new year, many new movies have already been announced and have a release date that fans are already waiting for. In no particular order, here are a few of those movies.

 

  1. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

Both Bats and Supes are two of the greatest comic book heroes to enter pop culture. For years people have compared the two, well now we’ll get to see it in cinematic glory. See who wins on March 25.

 

  1. Captain America: Civil War

Keeping with theme of heroes fighting heroes, the MCU begins to collide with itself when the government tries to regulate all super powers and weaknesses. This puts Captain America on one side and Iron Man on the other. Choose your side on May 6.

 

3.STAR WARS: Rogue One

STAR WARS IS BACK! The seventh movie released last year and brought the world back into STAR WARS mania. This movie will keep it going by going back to before Episode IV to explain how exactly the Rebels got the Death Star plans in the first place. Join the rebels December 16.

World of Warcraft has been a staple of video game culture for years now and millions find themselves engrossed in the fantasy world. Now that world is coming to life on the big screen. Hopefully it does better than other video game to movie adaptations. Looking at you Mario Bros…. Enter the War June 10.

Disney just can’t mess up can they? This animated movie about a world filled with anthropomorphic animals plans to add on to the massive avalanche of Disney successes that we just can’t get enough of. This movie will be about a bunny cop and a con artist fox who work together to stop a conspiracy. Enter the zoo-world on February 12.

 

  1. Assassin’s Creed

The Assassin’s Creed series has been around since 2007 giving fans an complex story jumping from time period to time period centering around the everlasting conflict between Assassins and Templars. This movie hopes to end the trend of terrible video game movies and deliver a fascinating entry in the franchise. It is noteworthy that the movie will not follow the games, instead creating it’s own story. Let’s all do a leap of faith on December 21.
