This past weekend high schools from across the metroplex and southwest metroplex participated in the Region 20 All-Region Band tryouts.  The auditions took place at Duncanville High School.   We are proud to announce that DeSoto High School had 14 students make the All-Region Band.  These students will once again travel to Duncanville on January 19 & 20 for the annual clinic and concert.

In January, Samuel Orta will be competing in the Area auditions.  This is the last step for the TMEA State band.  Good Luck Samuel!
